Wir hatten im Jahr 2001 ein gutes Gespräch mit Ryan Adams nach dem release seiner CD "Gold". Im Interview spricht Ryan über Anne Frank und Sylvia Plath, über digitale und analoge Aufnahmen, die Stones und die Beatles:

"I think the Rolling Stones were more interested in rhythm and blues and rock and roll. The Beatles were functioning more as a band being magical, interesting and beautiful. One's not better than the other. It's two colors in a rainbow. You can't say orange is beter than red. Dammit, they're both beautiful!"
