Auf dem Lowlands Festival in 2005 sprachen wir die sehr populäre, schottische Band Franz Ferdinand. Wir fragten Nicholas und Paul über ihr neues Album, ein neues Lied "Can't get next to you" das sie kurz zuvor geschrieben hatten und ihre Zukunftspläne.

Wir hatten ein ehrliches und offenherziges Interview mit Bad Religion Bassgitarrist Jay Bentley auf dem Lowlands Festival im August 2005. Wir fragten ihn was für Erinnerungen er an die alten Punkrock Tage hat, was er von der Musikszene anno 2005 findet und wie ihm live Auftritte gefallen:

"In the rehearsal space I have the same amount of fun as playing live!"

Wir hatten ein super Interview mit Sängerin Tristan Prettyman auf dem Lowlands Festival in 2005. Manchmal wird sie die weibliche Jack Johnson genannt. Sie erzählte über ihr Album "Twentythree" und ihre erste Single "Love Love Love".

"I had a really good idea how the record had to sound like. I didn't want too many effects on it. I could even pick my own band! There are guys from the Jeff Buckley band and Norah Jones band."

Wir hatten ein Interview mit Ross, dem Masterbrain der Band Morcheeba. Er war gerade aufgewacht als wir das Interview mit ihm machten. Ross hatte seine Sonnenbrille verloren und wollte sich Magic Mushrooms besorgen… er erzählte uns dennoch genug über das neue Album The Antidote". Das Interview haben wir im August 2005 aufgenommen.

Wir hatten ein Interview, backstage, mit der UK Popband The Futureheads auf dem Lowlands Festival 2005. Barry und Ross sprachen mit Toazted über ihre Konzerte in diesem Monat, die englischen Charts und das neue Album.

"Yesterday we played on a rock festival and we didn't really fit within all the other rock and metal bands...But enjoyed it!"

Wir sprachen mit dem Bassgitarristen (Mike) der Band The Bravery auf dem Lowlands Festival über das Leben auf Tour, früh aufstehen, die Presse und feiern nach jeder Show.
"I recently saw a video with myself in it from last year. Now I look almost 10 years older hahaha..."

Wir sprachen Torbjorn Brundtland und Sven Berge auf dem Lowlands Festival 2005. Backstage sprachen wir mit den Herren über ihr neues Album "The Understanding".

"We took down ideas, snipples of lyrics, beats and different elements. With this we started writing songs for this album. Each time we try to make something different and challeging."

Wir sprachen mit Simon und Whitey der Band Kaiser Chiefs auf dem niederländischen Lowlands Festival 2005. Die Herren erzählen über ihre Erfahrungen des vergangenen Jahres, über das geben von Interviews und was ihre Pläne für die kommende Zeit sind.

Whitey: "I don't want to be famous, and just want to play guitar. Sometimes in England people come up to us on the street. You look like as friend of ours, by the way!"

Claudio Sanchez and Josh Eppard from the band Coheed and Cambria tell about their long awaited new record: "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star 4, Vol.1." on the Dutch Lowlands festival in August 2005.

"The new album is a couple of steps forward. The story is not over yet! The songwriting and playing have evolved. The songs are better and we sound like the real thing."

Wir hatten beim Lowlands Festival 2005 ein super Interview mit den Prodigy Bandmitgliedern Liam, Keith und Maxim. Die Herren waren bereit die Bühne zu besteigen, als wir ihnen ein paar Fragen stellten. Unter anderem über ihr neues Album das irgendwann 2006 erscheinen wird.

Liam:
"It's cooking now. We've done 3 bits of music now. It should be out the end of next year. We play 4 new tunes in our set already. On the new album, the fundament will stay the same. Bass, beats and Bullocks. It's kinda what goes on top. The new album is gonna be more melodic."

Auf dem Lowlands Festival sprachen wir zum zweiten Mal mit Sänger Tom Vek. Backstage im Pressezelt sprachen wir über die Tour die er in dem Moment macht, das schreiben von neuen Songs und die Zukunft.

Wir sprachen Sängerin Heather Nova auf dem Dutch Lowlands Festival 2005, über ihr neues Album "Red Bird", das sie auf dem Festival promotet hat. Weiter fragte Toazted sie wie ihre Tour verlief und vieles mehr. Das Interview haben wir im August 2005 aufgenommen.

Wir sprachen mit dem Sänger von Dropkick Murphys Al Barr auf dem Lowlands Festival 2005. Er sprach unter anderem über die Punkkultur anno 2005, Festivals und noch vieles mehr. Dowloade das Album und höre es Dir an.

"The thing about Punk Rock is, when it was small it was small, it was not like a Greadful Dead show. Now it means a lot of good memories to me."
